Our Mission
The Sequatchie Valley Historical Association strives to preserve the history of the Sequatchie Valley. We work to maintain the natural beauty of our land and to provide an educational resource for all generations. We are a non-profit tax exempt 501-c organization, we have no paid staff, all members and workers volunteer their services without pay. We currently do not receive or accept funding from the City of Dunlap or Sequatchie County. We take pride in our efforts to support our Coke Oven Park almost totally with Donations and our Festival. Our commitment is to not be a burden to the Taxpayers but an asset to our Citizens.
